Marisa Tomei's one-shouldered Versace white dress had an elaborately pleated skirt and long train. If you had given her a bouquet of flowers, you might have thought you were her wedding, rather than the Oscars red carpet.
Her one-shouldered gown might have itself been inspired by the one-shouldered white dress that Michelle Obama wore to the inaugural balls, and which I also thought looked like a wedding dress.
